My purpose to start my own scholarship is to give back towards first generation students who are in need of financial help in order to jumpstart their college journey at a community college, trade school or university. I want to break financial barriers and help pave the way for students to feel confident to attend college and it starts with believing they can and ensuring they are financially set to start college.
